ABOUT ME

I was a Talent Agent in Los Angeles for 30 years. I began my career at The Savage Agency, one of the top children's talent agencies in Los Angeles. I quickly worked my way up to become the Head of the Commercial Department, where I found and developed actors for the next 25 years. I then went to KMR Talent to build their Youth Department from the ground up. It was an exciting and interesting task that furthered my love of scouting and nurturing actors!

As you can imagine, I have worked with thousands of actors. Here a few of the people that I have worked with: Paul Rudd, Jessica Beal, Nick Robinson, Jodie Sweetin, Alphonso McAuley, Ashton Sanders, Shailene Woodley, Marlow Barkley, Ava Michelle, Cedric Joe, Ciara Bravo, Reece Caddell, Elias Harger, Addison Riecke, Kira Kosarin and Storm Reid. Just to name a few.

The pandemic gave me time to reflect on my career and the specific things that excited me about being a Talent Agent. I realized that I really love helping parents and actors navigate this crazy thing called Show Business. It is extremely satisfying to help guide and mentor people to help them reach their goals. I have a pulse on the current needs of the industry and keen insight about actors who might have that special ‘It' factor.

My experience doesn’t stop with kids and youth. Many of my clients stayed with me into adulthood and I have a wealth of experience in helping actors make transitions to different age groups and types. I have had the pleasure of watching and nurturing so many children throughout their childhood and into adulthood. It has been an honor to watch and mentor my clients and see them grow into amazing people. 

This experience and knowledge pointed directly to the need for a business that focused on bridging the gap between Hollywood and talented youth actors. I started The Hollywood Prep, the first and only place to help guide people who are interested in getting into the industry but have no idea how to do it.

As a mom, I have a unique perspective on the concerns parents have as well as how the industry works. I can guide you to the legitimate classes and tools you need and advise you on how to avoid pitfalls and scams.
